Not only do I live on Maui and have my own big boat, on special occasions I charter Rascal. Great captain, great crew, great company! Never disappointed! These guys work hard to get you on fish! I’ve been fishing these waters for years and yet I learn something new every time I go on this boat.

Booked the 6 hr private charter. Kamal and Chris were very professional and friendly. Really did a great job putting us on the fish. Far exceed our expectations- closed the day with 6 Mahi-mahi. Highly recommend these guys- they know their stuff and really had a blast. Memorable trip of a lifetime!
Kamal and Chris were guides. They were both very professional and knowledgeable about the fishing and their surroundings. Kamal got us where we needed to go safely and efficiently. Chris got the lines in and out of the water trying their tricks of the trade so we were able to land some fish. Starting out by catching out targeted bait fish “ mackerel”. We had lots of fun just doing that. Any questions we had they were more then happy to answer. I would like to just hang out with these guys again just to chat with. My only regret was not being able to give them more money for a tip because they definitely deserve it.
My wife and I went on a full day private charter with Kamal and Sammy on December 11, 2021.
We were focusing on blue marlin because we hadn’t caught that specie before.
Those two guys were friendly, informative, very knowledgeable, and topped it off by being two of the hardest working guys we have had the privilege of fishing with!
We aren’t novices to charter fishing, having fished with many charter crews in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, the Caribbean, and many inland waters throughout the country.
So when we thank them for being so persistent and hard working, we really do know!
And it all paid off! We were able to catch, tag, and release two Pacific blue marlin. The largest being approximately 200 lbs.
Additionally, the boat is awesome and the gear top notch!

We had a great time fishing with Rascal Charters! Caught 4 Mahi Mahi on our 8 hour charter. We heard not many were catching while we were there so very fortunate!
Joe and Chris provide us with an epic day of fishing! With Joe guiding us through the water and Chris setting up the lines it was without surprise we had fish on all day. We would highly recommend this charter. Mahalo
We came out to Maui with our daughter and niece and her husband. We had planned other activities and weren’t sure how much we would enjoy deep sea fishing. Our nephew-in-law really enjoys fishing so we decided to go with it! Kamal and Chad were great-they knew what they were doing and were excellent “coaches” to our group of inexperienced fishermen. The first few hours were pretty quiet-excellent scenery and a nice ride. Then they started biting! We all caught smaller tuna and then the big ones hit. A 64 inch Spearfish, a 60lb Yellowfin, and an Ono. It was so exciting! Once back, they cut filets for us and put them on ice. What a thrill to eat your fresh catch the same day! Have been recommending them to everyone I know, I’m so glad we took the chance and tried something new!
My family went fishing on the Rascal on March 15th and had a terrific time. The boat was comfortable and clean. Captain Kamal and his deckhand Chad were personable and knew what they were about. They worked hard the whole trip to put us on fish and their efforts were rewarded with some Mahi-mahi. We caught fish when the other boats in the marina got skunked. I highly recommend Rascal Charters to you!
The crew of the Rascal is always top notch and very professional. This was my fourth time on the Rascal and I have had a 75% success rate. With fishing you never know what or when the fish will bite , but you will always have a good time on the Rascal. Thank you Captain Chris for a fishing trip of a lifetime.

Went out on the Rascal with Kamal and Chris. Just me, my son and his mom. Could have had 3 more on the boat and still been comfortable. Boat was very nice, comfortable couch (son slept for an hour). Air conditioning inside so you can escape the heat. The shade over the back deck makes all the difference! And one of the big reasons I picked this boat! It was hot! That shade made it comfortable even on the back. If it wasn’t there….. would have been miserably hot. Kamal and Chris worked their butts off to get us fish. There was nothing out there the first few hours. Found two Mahi, hooked both but I could only pull in one (my fault). I should have listened to Kamal’s instructions…. And you need to listen to them! It will be the difference between coming home with a trophy or empty handed! I will be back on my next trip in the summer! And probably every trip I take to Maui from now on!
